This is a four week E course via zoom that will be instructed and led by Robert Diaz, HN BSaM Welcome to the wonderful world of herbal medicine which has been around since humans have roamed the Earth. This course will introduce the history of herbal medicine with reviews on ancient Chinese herbology and Traditional Chinese medicine. The course will also explore the use of medicinal herbs in the United States ( Western Herbalism) and the influences that are part of the Afro-Caribbean herbal medicine community. We will focus on the basics of what herbs are, who uses herbs, the history of herbal medicine from a traditional Chinese influence and how herbs and botanicals are currently being used. There will be a Q and A session at the end of each course and time for reviewing course work.
