Local harvest soursop leaves (graviola, annona muricata,) from South Florida Organic Farms. (NOT LOW QUALITY IMPORT)

Each Package contains 15 grams of leaves, sun dried in the Florida Sun and the leaves can be reused.

The therapuetic dosage of graviola leaf, is reported to be 2-3 grams taken 3 or 4 times daily.  As one of graviola’s mechanisms of action is to deplete ATP energy to cancerouss cells, combining it with other supplements and natural products which increase or enhance cellular ATP may reduce the effect of graviola. The main supplement which increases ATP is a common antioxidant called Coenzyme Q10 and for this reason, it should be avoided when taking graviola.

ABSTRACT

In the present review, an attempt has been made to

congregate the traditional, phytochemical and pharm

acological studies done on an important

medicinal plant

Annona muricata,

(Family annonaceae). Cyclo hexapeptides, acetogenin

s, annonaceous acetogenins were the major phytochem

ical

compounds studied from this medicinal plant. The fr

uit is of economic value and hence cultivated and u

sed widely as an edible food. The plant

possess  the  major  pharmacological  activities  includ

es  cytotoxic,  antileishmanial,  wound  healing,  anti-

microbial  activity.  It  also  has  the  anti-

carcinogenic and genotoxic effect. Phytochemical an

alysis of the plant revealed the presence of tannin

s, steroids and cardiac glycosides which are

the major phytochemical compounds. The pulp obtaine

d from the plant shows the thermal diffusivity prop

erty. This review encompasses the

potential application of the above plant in the pha

rmaceutical field due to its wide pharmacological a

ctivities. As the fruit of this plant is highly

nutritious this paves the ways to work in future on

its potential to serve as an edible vaccine.
