Evening Primrose Oil (Oenothera Biennis L.)
Updated: Sep 28, 2018
Evening primrose is a biennial herb of the Onag raceae family, native to North America and found in parts of Asia and Europe. Its yellow flowers bloom in the evning
rather during the early day hence the name evening primrose. It is grown commercially in more than 30 countries. EPO consists of a variety of essential fatty acids that are benifical to human health.
As a certified herbalist, coach, nutritionist, I have been studying the uses of primrose oil and currenlty use it as a source for rich fatty acids and maintaining good blood cell circulation. Clients and friends also maybe familar with this common botanical as I commonly recomend it for auto-immune, menstrual iregularity and heart health.
